Roles & Responsibilities:
The Data Product Manager under the CDO Office is responsible for leading the development of data products for divisions within the client. You will work closely and coordinate with data engineers, data scientists and BI developers to bring data products to production and obtain stakeholder acceptance. You are also responsible for the product roadmap and ensure the right prioritisation and delivery of key product features.
- Collect Voice of the Customer feedback and insights to create meaningful user stories and use cases.
- Maintain and prioritize each product’s backlog of feature requests and bug fixes.
- Create and present business cases to leadership to secure required support (fund/resources etc) in each product’s major release.
- Maintain product roadmap for assigned product line.
- Write functional and business level requirements and effectively communicate requirements to the development team, technology or vendor partners.
- Hold Scrum calls with cross functional teams to execute iterative releases for assigned product lines.
- Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure timely on-budget delivery.
- Define the short, mid, and long-term product strategy for each assigned solution. This includes value positioning, target audience and features/benefits.
- Define and execute effective launch plans.
- Educate and train stakeholders how to use the product.
- Develop adequate support personnel, structure, and procedures to ensure assigned product line releases are successful and issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Frequent market/innovation research to ensure competitive positioning of the assigned product line.

- Must be comfortable and proficient in creating positive relationships with co-workers, clients, and vendors.
- Analytical mindset that can synthesize a large amount of customer, company and market information into accurate product priorities
