Locum Staff Nurse (Correctional Health)

• Up to $35.00 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Personal Care and Hygiene, including toileting
• Companionship
• Medication Reminders
• Oral Feeding
• Simple Exercises
• Manual Transfer to and fro wheelchair, geriatric chair, examination plinth and/or commode
• Simple Housekeeping, keeping the facility and equipment clean and tidy
• Vital Signs Measurement and Monitoring
• Prompt Reporting of Incident to Facility Manager
• Collection of medication after the medical consultation
• Nasogastric Tube (NGT) Feeding
• PEG Feeding
• Medication Administration
• Urine Bag Drainage
• Oxygen Therapy (MASK)
• Oxygen Therapy (BIPAP)
• Oxygen Therapy (CPAP)
• Stoma Bag Drainage
• Oral Suctioning
• Open Tracheostomy Suctioning
• Blood Glucose Check
• Swabbing
