• $11.00 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities:

Protecting the artwork

• Ensure that gallery equipment are in order, accounted for and switched on (if required) at the start and end of the day 
• Ensure that the visitors do not touch or damage the artworks (as per instructed).
• Promptly report any damages or incidents to supervisor on duty.

 Gallery Management

• Ensure that the gallery capacity is adhered to.
• Maintain crowd control.
• Ensure Museum etiquettes, rules and regulations are adhered by the visitors in the galleries.

 Customer Service

• Stand, greet and smile at all visitors in the galleries.
• Provide introductory information to visitors.
• Answer customers' questions and get a supervisor if answer does not solve the issue.

 Sharing of Artwork Knowledge

• Explain artworks and/ or interactive activities to the visitors if help is required by the visitors.
• Is comfortable and willing to share any artwork trivia with visitors

 Ticketing/ Information Counter

• Greet customers when entering or leaving establishment
• Answer customers' questions and get a supervisor if answer does not solve the issue
• Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers
• Count money in cash drawers to ensure the amounts are correct and that there is adequate chang

In addition to the above stated duties, you shall undertake such other duties as the Client shall from time to time assign or vest in you.
